An Acne Free Life – Just a Dream?

Starting in those adolescent years, acne can be a feat that any teenager dreams of overcoming. Is it possible or is being acne free, just a dream?It is possible, even in the teenage years, to have healthy, vibrant skin that is clear of acne?  Some think not, but I disagree! It is completely possible.

Becoming acne free can change your life!It can make you feel better about the way you look, and boost your self-esteem.You won't awaken in fear that your face has been visited by large zits during the night.Those days could be over for you.

Keeping your face clean is one of the first steps to becoming acne free.One key to keeping the blemishes at bay is cleansing your skin twice a day with a soap that works well with your skin.It is often recommended to exfoliate your skin every other day.  This step will help you discard the dead skin cells that can build up and cause unwanted pimples.

Another part of keeping your skin clean is to nourish it from the inside out.Keeping your skin hydrated and healthy is essential, so eat a healthy diet and drink plenty of water.Try eating foods that are high in anti-oxidants and omega-3 fatty acid to help keep your skin looking its best.By drinking around ten, 8 oz. glasses of water a day, you can keep your skin hydrated and radiant.

Rest is another factor to maintaining healthy skin.  Have you ever seen a person who gets no sleep with flawless skin?  It just doesn't happen.8 hours of uninterrupted sleep is required every night for your skin to renew itself.  This quality sleep will also help you remain stress free which will keep you acne free.

Eliminating stress can be a difficult feat in our day and age.However, getting a restful sleep and plenty of exercise can help in this area.Keeping the skin properly oxygenated is also essential for healthy skin, and exercise is a great way to do this.

By protecting your skin from sun exposure and not smoking, you can help rid yourself of acne.Limiting our exposure to the sun will help our skin, as it needs only a few minutes of sun exposure.Keep your skin protected from UV rays because they can do a lot of harm to your skin.   Also, smoking cigarettes is not the best activity for your skin.To avoid unwanted acne, don't smoke cigarettes, as the smoke clogs your lungs and your skin's pours with unhealthy toxins.

With these and other small steps, anyone can be acne free.It's possible, and not just a dream. By properly caring for their skin, many teenagers and adults alike, are living the acne free life everyday.
